Let's push the Bears aside for the moment and focus on the NOW most exciting team in town the second the NFC championship had concluded. The Chicago Bulls have arguabley the most exciting player in the game right now, not since MJ has Chicago basketball fans had somebody on the team that makes you plan your evenings around when the Bulls are on so you can watch something REAL happening on the basketball court and the thing is other cities arenas fill up because they want their chance to see the kid, as well as the Bulls injuries in the frontcourt to Noah and Boozer respectively and the lack of quality shooting guard play. Not only that but the guy has been electric and cannot be stopped right now, it's his third season and is getting to be SO GOOD.
Much more of this coming back Monday for the 2nd show 7-9pm on sportstownchicago.com

Bearing Down after a Strange NFC Title Loss
If you're reading this first of all I say to you thank you for coming back or if you're a first timer and don't know who I am, I say to you "welcome."
Now with that out of the way let's get down to business. Living in Chicago, as you must know there was a Bears playoff game in town, if you had no idea then you should get out of Mike Martz's cave because that is where he will be occupying his time after yesterday's NFC championship loss to the hated rival to the north Green Bay.
The Chicago Bears roller coaster season ended yesterday with a lot of unexpected occurrences, I'll start off with a few:
-Bears Defense: where were you the first quarter and a half or so? (Especially that #1 run defense)
-Bears Offense: I will give credit to the Packers "D" but what adjustments did we make really...
-If the passing game was struggling, we should have found more ways to get to Greg Olsen, the offense seems to click more when he is a factor.
-Aaron Rodgers was ineffective for most of the game especially the 2nd half, how can you capitalize on a red zone interception with Todd Collins at QB???
-Jay goes out with a knee injury, I'm not going to bash the guy because I think he's a tough SOB, and I've gotta believe that he'd have gone if he could for a chance at a Super Bowl, right?
-Todd Collins comes out and then leaves, he should never have set foot on the field except for crossing the field for the locker room. Caleb Hanie, I'll give him credit for showing some juevos and playing like it wasn't a big game but his mistakes cost us the game, he did okay, but he played like what he is a backup QB, so forget the nonsense that we have a controversy at our signal caller position.
There was another game on the East Coast...all I will say is that the Jets played a tough game, and for the record them or Steelers would've beaten the Pack in a couple of weeks.
What's this Carson Palmer making news about trade me or I'll retire business? Probably not a bad move considering a third of the teams need a starting QB, have we every seen such a market for QB's and this off-season proves that good ones are hard to find, not too many teams will have guys that are game changers. Teams have some good ones but teams that don't have some problems, Palmer and McNabb probably top the list of top name QB's to change cities before next years kickoff.
Hopefully tonight we'll have time to discuss some baseball...Cubs convention and Sox Fest were the last two weekends respectively. If we don't cover it at all between 7-9 tonight we'll surely do so next week.
